We are starting the migration of PenTeleData email accounts from Zimbra X to Zimbra Daffodil on Tuesday May 13th, 2025 @ 12:00 AM. This upgrade will bring enhanced features and a more modern email experience for you.
Here’s what you need to know during this transition:
- Login Process: Please continue to log in as usual at https://promail.ptd.net.
- After Migration: If your account has been migrated, you will see https://promail.ptd.net/modern upon logging in.
- Legacy Accounts: Accounts that have not yet been migrated will be redirected to https://promail-legacy.ptd.net.
- Version Details: Migrated users will see Zimbra Modern Web App Version 4.42.0 under the “Settings/About” section. Non-migrated users will see Zimbra Modern Web App Version 4.28.0.
Please do not bookmark the temporary links (https://promail.ptd.net/modern and https://promail-legacy.ptd.net) as they will be removed once the migration is complete.
This email will be added to https://www.ptd.net/news. If you receive an email concerning the email migration and it does not appear on https://www.ptd.net/news, it is not legitimate and should be considered a scam / phishing email. Please do not respond to scam / phishing emails, open any links or attachments, or provide any personal information. Mark these scam messages as spam or junk and delete them.
We will start with a small group of users to ensure there are no unanticipated issues. Once we confirm everything is working as expected, the migration process, will run continuously in small blocks until all customers are migrated. Customers who utilize an email client will not need to make any server changes. While we don’t anticipate POP clients redownloading old emails, there is a slight possibility this may happen. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause. Additionally, PenTeleData Webmail users may need to refresh their browser using the F5 key or clear their browser cache if Webmail does not load correctly.
