These detailed instructions will guide you through the process of configuring Pop-up windows in your web browser.

Google Chrome Windows & Macintosh (Block Popups)

  1. Begin by opening Google Chrome and select "Settings" from the menu at the top right of the window.

2. Click on "Privacy and security.”

3. Under "Privacy and security", click on "Site settings."

4. Scroll down to "Pop-ups and redirects" and select "Don’t’ allow sites to send any pop-ups or user redirects." Alternatively, if you need to add a pop-up, you can use the “Add” option and enter the web address.

5. When done, close the “Settings” tab.

Firefox Windows & Macintosh (Block Popups)

1. Begin by opening Firefox and select "Settings" from the menu at the top right of the window.

2. Click on "Privacy and security.”

3. Under "Privacy and security," place a check in “Block pop-up windows."  Alternatively, if you need to add a pop-up, you can use the “Exceptions” option and enter the web address.  When done, close the “Settings” tab.

Microsoft Edge (Block Popups)

1. Begin by opening Microsoft Edge, and pressing Ctrl+Shift+Delete, alternatively, select the "...' menu in the upper right.

2. Scroll and choose "Settings."

3. Next, from the left-hand menu, choose "Cookies and site permissions."

4. Choose “Pop-ups and redirects.”  The “Pop-ups and redirects” dialogue window will now appear. Choose the slider in the upper right-hand corner to your preference.  Alternatively, if you need to add a pop-up, you can use the “Add” option and enter the web address.  When done, close the “Settings” tab.
