These instructions will guide you through creating a blocked senders list in your email software. Adding an email address or a domain to the blocked senders list will automatically move email from them to the "Junk email" folder.

Windows Live Mail (PC)

  1. Open Windows Live Mail by double-clicking your "Windows Live Mail" icon on your "Desktop" or by clicking the "Windows Live Mail" icon from the start menu.
  2. Select "Safety options…" from the "Tools" menu. If you do not see the "Tools" menu, click "Show menu bar" from the "Menu" button.
  3. Select the "Blocked Senders" tab.
  4. To add an email address to the "Blocked Senders List" click "Add...".
  5. Type in the email address or domain address you would like to block and click "OK".
  6. When you are finished adding email addresses or domains to your blocked senders list click "OK" to close the "Safety Options".

Outlook 2011 (Mac)

  1. Begin by opening up Outlook 2011. Select "Junk email Protection..." from the "Tools" menu.
  2. Select the "Blocked Senders" tab.
  3. In the box labeled "Blocked Senders" type in the email address or domain you would like to block. To add multiple addresses or domains use a comma to separate them. When finished click "OK".

Windows Live Mail 2011 (PC)

  1. Begin by opening up Windows Live Mail 2011. Click on the "Windows Mail" button and select "Safety options..." from the "Options" menu.
  2. The "Safety Options" window will now appear. Select the "Blocked Senders" tab.
  3. To add an email address to the blocked senders list click "Add...".
  4. Type in the email address or domain address you would like to block and click "OK".
  5. When you are finished adding email addresses or domains to your blocked senders list click "OK" to close the "Safety Options" window.

Windows Mail (PC)

  1. Open Windows Mail by double-clicking your "Windows Mail" icon on your "Desktop" or by clicking the "Windows Mail" icon from the start menu.
  2. Select "Junk email Options..." from the "Tools" menu.
  3. Select the "Blocked Senders" tab.
  4. To add an email address to the "Blocked Senders List" click "Add...".

  6. When you are finished adding email addresses or domains to your blocked senders list click "OK" to close the "Junk email Options".

Outlook Express 6 (PC)

  1. Open Outlook Express by double-clicking your "Outlook Express" icon on your "Desktop" or by clicking the "Outlook Express" icon from the start menu.
  2. Select "Blocked Senders..." from "Message Rules" under the "Tools" menu.
  3. To add an email address to the "Blocked Senders List" click "Add...".
  4. Type in the email address or domain address you would like to block and click "OK".
  5. When you are finished adding email addresses or domains to your blocked senders list click "OK" to close the "Message Rules".

Microsoft Outlook 2010 (PC)

  1. Begin by opening up Outlook 2010. Click on the "Junk" button and select "Junk email Options...".
  2. Select the "Blocked Senders" tab.
  3. To add an email address to the "Blocked Senders List" click "Add...".
  4. Type the email address or domain address you would like to block and click "OK".
