This page will assist you in accessing and using the PenTeleData "Change Mail Quota" web page. The "Change Mail Quota" web page allows you to change the amount of e-mail that all of your mail folders on the PenTeleData mail server will store. All PenTeleData e-mail accounts are configured to allow 100MB or 3,000 messages by default. If you don't check your e-mail often, this page can be a useful tool to help prevent your E-mail Storage Space from exceeding the complimentary 50 MB (megabytes) of free e-mail storage. Any E-mail Storage Space which exceeds the complimentary 50 MB, will be billed at a rate of $1.00 per each additional megabyte of storage, per month. For more information on your E-mail Storage Space, click HERE (external link).

NOTE: If the amount of e-mail storage on your account has reached the mail quota that you have set, all new incoming e-mail messages will be returned to the sender until some of the stored e-mail is removed from your mail folders.

To access the "EMail Quota Settings" web page, you must first log into the PenTeleData "Account Management" page by surfing to www.ptd.net and clicking on "Account Management" on the right side of the page.

Enter the beginning part of your PenTeleData e-mail address for your username (everything before the @ptd.net) and the corresponding password to login to the PenTeleData Account Management page.

After you have logged in, click on "E-Mail Quota Setting" to view or change your mail quota settings. You can also access the "Account Management" page directly by clicking HERE (external link).

Below is an example of the "EMail Quota Settings" web page. Explanations for each item within the report are displayed at the end of this document.

When typing your password, only a series of dots will appear for password confidentiality. Please note that passwords are case-sensitive so please be certain that your capitalization is correct.

In the field labeled "Number of messages", you would enter the maximum number of messages that you want your mail folders to occupy on the server.

In the field labeled "Size of mailbox(MB)", you would enter the maximum amount, in MB (megabytes), which you want your mail folders occupy on server.
