This page will assist you in accessing and using the PenTeleData "Disk Space Statistics" web page. The "Disk Space Statistics" web page will display a detailed report that will allow you to monitor disk space usage for your "E-mail Storage Space" on a daily interval for the current usage period.

To access the "Disk Space Statistics" web page, you must first log into the PenTeleData "Account Management" page by surfing to www.ptd.net and clicking on "Account Management" on the right side of the page.

Enter the beginning part of your PenTeleData e-mail address for your username (everything before the @ptd.net) and the corresponding password to login to the PenTeleData Account Management page.

After you have logged in, click on "Disk Space Usage Report" to view a report of your disk space usage. You can also access the "Account Management" page directly by clicking HERE.

Once the "Disk Space Usage Report" web page loads, click on the "Details" link to the right of "Your Average Personal Storage."

Below is an example of the disk space details for the user "johndoe." Explanations for each item within the report are displayed at the end of this document.



Username: This field displays the account username that this report pertains to. This username could be your standard Full Access login (Dial-up, cable modem, and DSL) or "Mail-Me" account.

Date: This is the specific Month/Day/Year for which the space was calculated.

Disk Space Type: This will specify whether the type of disk space displayed refers to "Personal Storage Space" (PSS) or "E-mail Storage Space"(ESS).

Disk Usage: This is the average of data, in MB (megabytes), which your e-mail messages occupied on our server for the specific date listed.

By looking at the example of a "Disk Space Statistics" report shown above, you can see that the user "johndoe" had averaged 0.04MB of e-mail on the server for April 1, 2004. You can also see that this user averaged 0.04 MB of e-mail storage for this billing cycle.
